On May 22, 2021, Haiti was designated for TPS. This allowed qualified Haitians who have continuously resided in the United States since July 29, 2021, to apply for TPS during the 18-month registration period running from August 3, 2021 through February 3, 2023.

Further, due to pending federal litigation, Haitians who have been granted TPS will continue to retain that status through the pendency of the litigation. Accordingly, DHS has automatically extended the vailidity EADs for Haitians with TPS through December 31, 2022.

This app will help Haitians determine if they qualify for TPS. To consult with one of our lawyers about TPS and about our filing your TPS case, please go to https://www.visalaw.com/consultation. Qualified TPS applicants are eligible for an employment authorization document and may, in some circumstances, travel outside the United States.
